Drive-in Movie

http://www.driveinmovie.com

It is tempting to put this under Film History for drive-ins are almost a thing of the past. The site covers every American state, and has been extended to cover current drive-ins in Australia. It gives a brief history of drive-ins in the state, recent closures and the remaining drive-in theatres. If drive-ins were part of your film experience, it is worth visiting.

Drive-in Movie Memories

http://www.americandrivein.com

Alongside the promotion for the documentary, Drive-in Movie Memories, are various photos of drive-ins across America. Choose a state to see a selection of images from a by-gone era.

The Drive-in Theatre

http://www.driveintheater.com

Few of the pages have links back to the main menu, which makes this rather frustrating to browse. Listings are by country/state, with current drive-ins, closures, historical highlights and commentary. There are some reproductions of old advertisements, menus and even a brace of programmes. Nostalgic and quaint.
